Ms G's Art World

This is the place where inspiration starts!
I have one goal and one goal only...and that is to make kids excited about art.

I have a philosophy that learning does not have to be boring to be effective! I love the excitement that comes from children when they explore color with paint and oil pastels. I try to incorporate as many mediums as possible with the students.

If it were up to me I would see each child daily for extended periods of time, but I am only able to have classes visit me once a week for 45 minutes. We get as much done in that time as possible!

I want each child to understand three major areas:

1. CREATE art -- experiement with many different mediums and themes.

2. RELATE art to the "real world" - how does art make a difference in our world?

3. EVALUATE art and be able to discuss artwork in terms of it's value and quality.
